Welcome to my website, the totally cool guide to the year 2000 Formula one season. This
season is going to be a classic and this website is here to cover it. Form every race and
every heart stopping moment will be covered in this guide that will grow as the
season progresseses.
First I'll tell you a little about this site. It is a project that I'm working on in a
FAS Computer Programming and Applications course. Of course that does not mean it going
to be boring and badly programmed. In fact, I am aiming this to be one of the best sites
for the Formula one year 2000 season. The website is broken up into seven sections
which are the following:
THE DRIVERS
This sections shows the Formula one current drivers (That was a hard one to guess).
It covers they background, history, race results and the teams they drove for. All
details are correct prior to the 2000 season.
THE TEAMS
Ferrari, Jordan, Williams, all the 22 teams are here, who they are, where thay came from
and where they be going in the new season and beyond. All the teams past results are also
covered in depth.
THE CARS
Without cars they might be on horses, just joking! Good engines and great chassies are
what make a Formula One car a winner. Oh ya, and a good driver too. As the season progresses
we try to bring you details about the technology in each car, and to prove that each team
have very different cars and concepts on how to win races. Thank God for the cars because
it would be bad seeing horses running in barriers and blowing up !!!.
THE TRACKS
From the streets of Monaco to the space-age design of the Malaysia Track to the bends of
the Nurburgring, the track are what make the difference between excitement and watching cars
going round in circles, i.e. Nascar racing.
THE HISTORY
This part of the site is not intended to show every bit of the history of formula one but
only the classic moments where time stood still, dreams happened or when things went wrong
and trouble happened.
THE LINKS
All the best links to other F1 sites plus links to other websites that are cool and
informative.
THE RESULTS
The last and the best, the Results. This section will cover the results of the 2000
season an it happens, keeping fully up to date with the winners and loosers and keeping
track of the points at the same time. There will also be a comparision of last year races
and other details.
